I have 72 gallon reef tank. My nwb-150 skims until the neck is coated then production stops. (1.5 days tops). It used to skim like mad. I have tried cleaning the whole skimmer. Raising and lowering it in the sump. Raising and lowering water level. Still the same.
Is it possible there is not enough organics to make it skim properly?
There are 11 fish in there
5 chromis, 2 gsm maroons, bicolor dottyback, yellow tang, engineer goby, target mandarin.
Feed once a day with a mix of cyclopeeze, mysis, and sometimes omega one pellets.
I used to get almost a full cup a week. Now I get about .25" and that's it.
