October Invertebrate Photo Contest
They’re creepy and they’re kooky,
Mysterious and spooky,
They’re all-together ooky...
Halloween is right around the corner, so we’re having an “Invertebrate Photo Contest.” It’s time to give credit to some of the weird and strange little critters that call our aquariums their home.
To compete, just post:
* A photo (that you took) of one or more invertebrates in your tank.
* Just for fun; include a photo title, and the camera/lens or photo app that you used.
* And remember to vote on other people’s posts by smashing that “Like ” button.
Details:
* Maximum 2 submissions per person, but they must be uploaded separately for voting purposes.
* Free to play and to win.
* Submission must be made before October 31, 2019 at 11:59:59 PM (midnight).
* Winner will be based on who has the most votes on November 7th. This will allow late submissions to have a week to gain votes.
* Invertebrates will not include anemones and corals (which yes, are invertebrates). Rather, the spirit of this contest is to shine a spotlight on crabs, shrimps, snails, sea stars, urchins, cucumbers, etc... They can be beneficial good-guys, or creepy pests.
Prizes:
* 180 gallon bucket of Instant Ocean Salt and a promo shirt. Instant Ocean Prize
* To encourage voting; if 2 submissions get at least 8 votes, I’ll include a nice frag of my Bi-Color Fluorescent Setosa also (which I’ll be fragging soon).
Show us what you got!
