I didn't guess wrong, Octopus do NOT play around, man. I got to see one go toe to toe with a Giant King Crab one time in Honduras on a night dive. Truly one of the coolest things I've seen in the wild.

Amazing video. It just flipped the shark over which likely put it into a tonic state, so it couldn't/wouldn't fight.
