with the recent thread on CA reactors I now understand how they work (mostly)!!!!

now i want one for my tank! I have about 40 nice sized SPS frags in the tank... and want to add a Ca reactor to help um grow.

question: where can i get a ca reactor BUNDLE.. that has everything I need to add it to my system.

what would you folks in the know recommend?

thanks

There is currently a thread about which controller is better for pH so watch that and then you will need a CO2 tank and regulator. Should be right at your price range and a VERY nice system.[/QUOTE]

+1 :)

Make sure you get the spraybar upgrade too.

I already have a RKL, so I don't need an AC.
Ya I forgot about paint ball.. I use to play pb tourneys :)I was the death bringer haha.

I'd like a bigger tank than you use with paintball though.. biggest i remember using is 20 oz. Id rather have one I don't have to fill so often, being in NE alabama im sure NO ONE does it haha. I'll look on ebay for the co2 tank.

my dad also runs an AC business in ROME, so he may have a few laying around :)

ANOTHER QUESTION:
What about the regulator. what do i want .. what do i want to stay away from???

I like the jbj and gen-x regulator. I don't think the gen-x is available anymore and the jbj is in limited quantities.

I've had a Milwaukee Ma-957 for about 7 years on my planted tank and it works great. Zero issues, seems well constructed.

I was looking at a reef fanatic regulator / solonoid / controller.

anyone have feed back on that brand?

Now I am looking for one for a 92 corner
I have looked at complete packages
A lot are going for around $550-600
The packages include everything
Reactor, regulator, Ph controler ect.
What are the prefered brands being use?
I want this to be a one time purchase

I have a genx and a JBJ regulator no problems with ether the gen x is 3 years old. I have 2 Milwaukee controllers one at least 3 years old with no problems.

I have a geo 612 that works great but would not suggest it for anything over 150 gal hard core sps setup. If large then go to the next level up or get a reactor that uses small media as they don not need to be changed as often.

I didnt read the whole post. Sorry, I just hate doing it.
I know Eric was selling a cal reactor at a very good price.

You could pm him and see what he will let it go for and what all it includes.
Just a suggestion.
