Old keg tap

I found an old C02 tap and put it ij the junk pile. Would an old keg c02 tap work for adding C02 to my system?

So yah that's a regulator on there... I'm thinking that its not build for the level of accuracy that we're looking for in the hobby though but you can test it out and see if it works for yah.
