My Anemone has been living behind a large rock since the over dose of vodka incident, so I thought!
I've seen it behind the rocks with a flash light and my clowns were also hanging out behind the rocks. It has moved a little but continued to stay out of sight which you may have read about me "not liking".
I got home at 9 PM tonight (haven't been home in 2 days) checked the tank, looked in the sump only to find a clump of unidentifiable anemone in my filter sock.
It took me several hours to get the QT ready for it. I kept it in a cup in the sump oxygenating it every now and then with a turkey baster. It looked much better even before putting it in the QT. I'm confident it will recover but this guy has had a rough life and has caused me several long nights. If it wasn't one of the prettiest anemones Ive ever seen, I would consider rehoming it.
Sorry my pictures got out of order. The first one is straight out of the filter sock. The second is 3 hours later after placing it in a rock in the QT tank and the third is after it sat in the cup in the sump for 3 hours. It improved considerably in the sump and after being in QT 30 minutes now with low LED light its looking so much better than picture posted with it in the rock.
I can't imagine how it "worked" its way into the over flow.
