I decided I will NOT be doing SPS....Corals will consist of Zoas, shrooms for color...just some softies, GPS...and a Sun Coral. Im not going crazy in the coral dept.

Its a 92 corner...As of now the only thing I have picked out is a RBTA and two Maroon clowns. Will the clowns be able to live with any agressive fish?

Ideas on livestock?

Id like to do an agressive tank IF my clowns will be ok...I wont sacrifice not having the RBTA or clown...

Soooooo....watcha think?

I probably wouldn't mix agressive fish with clowns. How about a nice tang and a 6 line or a goby?

Well maroon clowns are agressive themselves so aggresive fish should be ok I would think.

What types of "aggresive" fish are you interested in? That's way too wide and subjective of a category to really attempt to answer.

Most posts here have a wide births of opinions anyway...so if you rather not attempt them no biggy :) trigger type aggresive...I can research or get opinions...rather wait for panda...he'll set me straight lol... I figured maroons are semi aggresive anyway to hold their own.

Hey Maple...how's is yours comin...?

What type of trigger? Triggers like bluejaws and crosshatch are semi aggresive (usualy) While other triggers are usually pretty aggresive.

bluejaws are really pretty but the crosshatch is out of my pocketbook...beautiful fish but wife would shoot me

blue jaw should be fine with maroon clowns. I'm thinking about adding either a bluejaw or a crosshatch in my tank were there will be wrasses, gobies, blennies, ect.

Sitting in the living room. Empty. LOL I saw petco had the black sand (20lb bag for 35.99) What did you pay for yours?

one petco was 34.99 the other was 31.99....had to go to 2 places because neither had a 100 pounds plus I had a coupon for $10 off...I normally wouldnt spend that kind of money for sand but it was great with the 90, hardly zero cycle and its REAL fine and looks awesome...more pics tomorrow

**** you for making me have to spend 150 bucks on just sand.

The trigger will out grow the tank and since it is a bowfront and doesn't have much length. Maybe look into the wrasse department. They can hold their own and shouldn't even be a concern with the maroons.
If you don't mind trading the fish away in the next few years I have seen some tiny triggers being offered lately

Maroon clowns can be jackasses. :) I would not worry about them holding their own against aggressive tankmates. I agree with Smoothie about tank length being a possible issue for larger, open swimming fishes like triggers or tangs. I also agree with his wrasse recommendation. I have toyed with the idea of a snowflake eel in a partial reef tank with no shrimp inhabitants.
