Did anyone else read about the upcoming ORA spotted mandarins...

:yay: the Mandarin's are one of my favorite fish and on top of my must have list when we can accumulate a good and sustaining pod population for the little guys... but the thought of unintentionally starving one out has made me very apprehensive... can't wait for the ORA spotted mandarins, though I'll probably still also get the more psychadelic green mandarin dragonet too at some point! :unsure: :blush:
 
That's awesome. These are my favorite fish, also. I'm so glad there have been so many advances in their favor!
 
I would spend the extra dime to get the ORA knowing that it would be much more likely to live off prepared food. Not that I would ever not have a huge pod population for him anyway.

I want the ORA spotted mandarin too babe, but you know I'm going to have to have my psychadelic Mandarin too!
 
I've got a psychedelic (spotted) in my 20 gallon. The colors on those are incredible, especially the stripes over the eyes and head. I was able to get him to accept frozen mysis, brine, and cyclopes, but I still supplement with live food, in addition to having an HOB Fuge. They're so fun!
