Aside from the temp thing, any downsides to this snail? Anyone keep them?
 
Orange usually means really toxic. The red foot horse conch gets two feet and preys on snails and crabs. I'm sure exactly which one you're talking about.
 
Norrisia norrisia aka the Mexican Red Foot Snail. It is supposed to be completely reef safe and non-toxic. It actually eats cyano along with many other types of algae.
 
They are supposed to be really nice snails if you keep your tank temp below 78 degrees. They are also very beautiful. I am certainly willing to try a couple if I can find someone that carries them.
