I've had an ORP probe on the tank since the day I filled it with saltwater and wondering who else monitors their ORP?

What observations in the tank have you had in relation to it being high or low? (Maybe better polyp extension on SPS?)

Do you run something like ozone to increase it?

What is the average low and high do you see on a daily basis?

What device do you use to monitor it and how often do you clean the probe?

I used to, but you have to calibrate the probe once a month if you want to maintain any sort of accuracy. The only reason I even did it was for O3.

Never did...nor ph for that matter..

That's why I find the Apex and such useless....

Some people think GPS is useless. But then again, it's because those folks don't go anywhere!

I love GPS, I've had GPS for years....

I also love technology, lol....

I believe my fail safes that include battery backup vortechs, a generator, only 5 gallons of water in my makeup, will prevent almost all crashes.....

If my auto-makup float fails, then only a maximum of five gallons of water can make it sump. I have an avast skimmer container that shuts off skimmer when full....

A paper outage in summer when temps are at 100, well that's still a major issue...

that's true......however, I am sure that there is something cheaper for a heater...

Small controllers can be had around $100. That's pretty cheap for heater insurance.

Personally I like the convenience of managing everything remotely. Anytime, anywhere. And it's just easier for me at home too. But that's just my 2 coppers.

As for monitoring ORP, nope. Never did it.

never have...

how? net module? apex?

I wish we could monitor ALK and CA remotely :)

Apex. You can set it up to access from anywhere. iPhone app works great. I don't even know how to use the display panel anymore. LOL.
