Our first tank

My wife and I are just getting into saltwater. We bought a 65 gallon drilled tank and are in the process of building a custom stand. We are super excited to start this awesome hobby together.

Welcome to the money pit my friend! With all of it's ups and downs, it remains a magnificent hobby! I have one word of wisdom for you. SLOW! Nothing good happens fast in our hobby. It's a process and even those who have been doing it for years have hiccups. Be patient, read a lot and ask questions. Good luck and happy reefing!

Thank you it was my first attempt at furniture so a couple things weren’t the way I wanted. We got a deal on the tank though wish we had gone a little bigger as my wife wanted a powder blue tang.

Just saw your tank browsing through facebook. Cool rock in the top. What's on the right in the back? In a thumbnail it kinda looks like a diver

Thanks yeah we had to grab the top piece when we saw it. The right side is a branch of staghorn I believe. The light does make it hard to make out haha.
