Hmmmmm...good question. I'm not sure the usual skimmer pump could push water against that kind of head loss.

Concur about the head pressure.

I did use the skimmer output to feed a seperate fuge in the past.

I would think the back pressure would make your skimmer freak out. If there is no pressure on the output, like Lorens feed to a fuge, that's fine.

Short answer would be no. The logistics make it close to impossible.
