I currently have a 65 gallon, not drilled. It has a home made over flow and return. I have 10 gallon home made sump. I have recently purchased a nice tiger emerald 26 sump. My overflow and return has been made to the sump so I'm going to have to reconfigure it. What should I do??

1) get a HOB over flow ( but wanting something I don't have to worry about the siphon breaking )
2) drill a bulkhead in the back and put a box in?
3) ???

Depending on your budget, a 65 gallon reef-ready would be ideal.

If that's not an option, I'd drill.

HOB overflow boxes are doomed to fail, in my experience.

No you need to use water to cool the bit. Also if something goes wrong and it cracks 65 gallons of water will make a big mess
