I need some help from you overflow experts. I recently purchased an SCA 150 gallon from a club member that had an old synergy reef overflow. I wanted to update it with one from modular Marine. However, they have told me that the bulkhead size is do not fit what they currently use. My options are to have them make a custom overflow that will fit my tank and allow me to use their bulkheads but I have to drill the existing holes larger, which is something I'm not comfortable with doing. However, doing this would allow me to have their removable weir. Option two is to send them the existing bulkheads I have and have them do a custom overflow that can use them. I would rather have all updated stuff from modular Marine, but do you guys think it's worth trying to drill the existing holes larger just to have a removable weir?
