I like it! You shouldn't have any problem's growing Softies in there.

I think the 400 watt is way overkill. How tall is this cube, about 12 inches? I would think a 150 watt halide would grow any light loving SPS you could think of.
Dave

Im pretty sure he was kidding Dave :) That Koralia takes up half the tank.

Temp would be my only concern. I had a 150 HQI over a 10 and the tank got hot.

Na it was a joke...that was for the guys that like to say i have 19w per gallon and 1.67 million gallon per hour flow

OK, got it. I'm setting up a 210 in a day or two and I'm using 400 watt halides!

I don't think there's enough flow. You need at least another Koralia 4. Have you tested the PAR? you might be just a tad short.

Man. Just tape a bunch of magnets to some pvc and put it in the middle. You'll never have to do a water change again.

I used to grow zoanthids under a 400 watt MH in about 4 inches of water. Oh they either loved it or melted down within 2 days.

You could always drill the back and add a giant sump in your basement. You would have the most ****** 12 gallon ever...though your fish may become blind unless they get sucked up in the powerhead when they decide to take a break from swimming.

I say you use it to grow out some Ninja Turtles.
That's all I'm sayin

No doubt.. Oddly enough I have wanted to do that same setup just to see how far the temp will climb in an empty tank..
