About to start a new project for one of my cubes for only SPS and clams. I couldn't locate a pendant I like, so I am going to give building one a shot....possibly. It will consist of (4) 32w PC's of varying temps and (1) 150w or possibly 250w MH. I have some LED's laying around so I may throw them in too.
My biggest hurdle right now is what materials can be used. If I use wood, it'll be big and heavy but I do plan on hanging it from the wall with all cords run through the bracket and into the wall for cleanliness. With wood I'll have to have crazy insulation, ventilation, and cooling.
I would love to use formed steel or aluminum but the cost of having it formed up could be unbearable.
Any creative ideas?
