Does any one dose this way? If yes, can you recommend a brand and model for a pumps(s) and where you bought them? I only have a 55g, but I am growing wearing of the manually dosing.

Thank you!

I use BRS dosing pumps(1.1ml per min) to dose 2 part and Mg and really like them. I have been using 2 of them for almost a year dosing 2 part and the 3rd I picked up for my new tank to dose Mg and it has been running since October all with no problems.

I'm also growing tired of dosing 2 part by hand. I plan on picking up a pair of the BRS dosing pumps in the next few weeks. Based on my research they seem to offer the best value for the money.

Excellent. Thank you. Sound lke a good investment.

Edit: I just watched the demo on BRS. I knwo you can't ALK and Ca at the same time....so why is it called 2-part? Thank you!

This article explains the relationship between Cal and Alk

BRS suggests dosing Alk right after your lights go out and calcium 8 hours later.

Yea! Mine just came in the mail on Friday and I am about to put them online today or tomorrow. I hate the BRS guy because he does too good a job explaining stuff and spends a lot of my money! But he hasnt left me disappointed. I created a tread a few weeks ago enquiring about dosing, it has a poll so you can see who uses what method to dose.

I am just glad they have slowed down on their instructional videos. Seemed like every time a new one came out it cost me an additional $50.

According to the BRS guy. Two pumops are needed. One for CA and one for ALK.

Edit: Yep...just confirmed it with them. I use up more CA than ALK. I am just going to go with one (for the CA) . Thanks for all of the advice!
