Pest or not?

Two of my torch corals have some weird creature on its "stalk" near the base. It blends in pretty good with the base however when I leave it alone it opens up and when I shine a light I see it close like a clam. It doesn't like my flashlight so its hard to get a picture.

I have searched for pests in the reef hobby and non match it. Any ideas?

probably some relative of the oyster. ive seen something like it on several snails and from what i could tell it wasnt harmful. but i dont know anything about it other than that its a mollusk so i could be wrong

If so, I'd think it wouldn't be harmful since it would be a filter feeder. Disclaimer- zero experience with it.
