Hey guys,

Is there a saltwater pet place in or near the Mall of Georgia?

Stroid, this is his research! Chill out dude! Where are you..You need a beer bad! Is it happy hour yet?

Hey guys,

I was planning to go to Mall of G for other reasons. The point of going to a store is to see (1) knowledgeable staff, (2) livestock and corals, (3) get advice.

Just because you visit a store doesn't mean you are going to buy something. I have been to like 6 stores in the past two months just to canvass them andn ask questions. And besides, I am disciplined. At most I may grab a hermit or a snail.

Thanks for having my back skriz

:)

I went to the store at Mall of Ga when they first opened and was not impressed at all. I am hoping it is better now, but not sure. Check it out and let us know.

Not trying to snap its just thread after thread of easily found information...I could use a beer...i am at work though.

It does not seem to be a sponsor store. Also, does anyone have its phone number or address (or website?) I put in fish store, but I get the homepage for fish store and more (in Atlanta).

Me too- it was rough-looking when they first opened. I went back about 2 months ago, though, and they've improved quite a bit. They've got their ick problem under control, and they've started to carry corals- some of which didn't look half bad. I still don't like the store for other reasons, though.

Do they have a variety of crabs, snails, shrimp? I'll probably just canvass the place and get an invert. I'll let you know what I find.

If these were your reasons for seeking a LFS near the Mall of GA, I WOULD NOT go to "fish store" Their tanks look bad, their fish look worse, their staff does not know what they should to be giving any advice, and their prices are well above average!! All this is based off of the 6+ times I have given them a "second" chance.

There really is not a fish store in the area that I would recommend except "posidens" and even then, you should know your stuff before going in.

Make the trip doen to Roswell and check out Marine Fish.

It's 35 miles from me, but worth the drive. They'll give you good advice and you get 30% off lviestock.

Brandon- I guess you've taken the second chance work off my schedule! Too bad they still haven't improved :(

Has anyone been to The Aviarium at Gwinnett Place recently? They did a lot of work cleaning up their tanks and moved the coral tank to the middle so it isn't all jammed up. The set up looks a lot nicer now.

they got all of the new tanks from under the wave when he got put out of the store. try nemo's fish on indian trail rd and dickens rd. in lilburn great family owned store and aaron is great!

Totally agree on all points. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Nemo's advice is terrible and quality is shoddy. You get what you pay for.
