Thanks for all you guys' help here. This is such a great site. I have managed to get my alkalinity down over the past few days. Took H2o to another LFS and it was way off the charts. Guy suggested 3-4 gallon water changes every day. It has come down proportionally each day. Should have all this back in order next week or so. Thanks to all of you.
