I have an Octopus 3000 that I'm going to put back into commission. The PH Probe is dry so I want to get a new one.

Do I have to buy an Octopus ph probe? Or can I get a cheaper one? If I can get a non-Octopus one, any recommendations?

I've used Milwaukee Instruments pH probes for years. Pinpoints are also good, IMO. Comes with a BNC connector. Here's a couple links for probes from Aquacave:

DIY Reef has the Milwaukee probe: [IMG]https://diyreef.authsecure.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=318">https://diyreef.authsecure.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=318</a>

$40-$45 seems pretty standard for cost.
