pH Testing

Can anyone recommend a good pH test kit for someone who can't see colors very well? I have the API test strip but can't tell with the colors whether it's orange or red. It doesn't help that the colors bleed somewhat also. I can't tell if I have 7.4-8.4 or somewhere in between.

almost all test kit available are color based but you could get yourself a ph moniter which uses a probe or a hannah checker. but im not sure if hannah makes a ph checker

I hate my API test kit for that reason. Hannah doesn't make one for PH. My solution is planning for an Apex first chance I get.

That's one of the reasons I got one. Never need to check pH again.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll need to look into getting an Apex. I'm not sure if it's my budget currently though.

Get a ph pen until you get the apex.
