Hey everyone, just for shiggles, what range does your ph normally stay in your reef tank? Online I've seen anything from 7.7 to 8.3 but I'm curious as to what the members of the club experience in their tanks. I have no livestock in mine yet but the reef crystals when I mixed to 1.026 salinity has bounced between 8.16 and 8.2 over the past couple of days, I may have not performed the calibration right on my apex so I have more solution on the way just in case.

8.16-8.2 isn't really bouncing around at all :) Id say that's steady

I range from 8.03-8.16

Thanks guys, I'll eventually figure out what the norm is, I'm just not used to having the ability to check my ph instantly like what I have with the apex =)

Anything around 8 is fine. Consistency is the key. Your salt mix doesn't affect it as much as the environment. For instance, PH will sometimes drop at night when the lights are out. That's why many have the fuge light on at night to help bring the PH back up.
