picked up this used biocube is it safe to operate?

hey guys i wanted to ask if this is safe to use. I have attached pictures below of the condition of the stand. Do you guys think it will be fun if i use the biocube on this stand?

The stand has some water damage, but honestly it'll probably be just fine. You might run some caulk in the cracks and give it a fresh coat of paint to seal it up if you're up to it, but it's not required.
 
id look on the inside of the cabinet to see if the mdf has started to degrade. you can always put braces on the inside.

if i don’t caulk it but decide to paint the entire stand will that be fine?
 
I would either caulk or use some bondo. I think those cracks will soak up the paint if you don't.
