I have two ocellaris clowns and a royal gramma that refuse to eat anything but flake. I have tried pellets, flake, phytoplankton, mysis, emerald entree, cyclopeeze. Any suggestions?

I've tried garlic on all of it to no avail. This is nuts! Everything is better with garlic. lol

Small clowns? Are they getting the right sized pellets? Mine have liked spectrum since the first time I dropped it in the tank.'

how many times have you tired with the garlic extract? Have you soaked the food for about 30 mins. before feeding? I had a puffer that was a picky eater, used the garlic for about a week he started eating anything and everything and has not stopped eating since then and now I don't use the garlic except when i get a new fish.

I got the same problem! I bought two Moca clown fish this past Saturday, and I cant get them to eat anything? They are small, about an inch long, so I thought they would eat flake food like my other two do. But so far they just bite at it and spit it back out? I'm feeding Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef Flakes, pieces of ground up shrimp, and some seaweed, but they don't like any of it? What else can I try?

I've soaked everything for about 20 minutes. the pellets are the smallest ones from formula one or some place ( not at home to look). I'll try soaking longer. I just want to give them a varied diet.

I'm with Fido Fence on this one: Try Rod's. The pieces are small enough for your small fish to eat (Larry's has much</em> bigger pieces), and it's a variety of food all in one so maybe they find something they like.

any decent place to get that online? nowhere local carries a variety. closest place is an hour and a half away.
