i have a problem as well some grow and some die off. cant figure it out....

hard to tell by the pics but it looks like algae on the clove polyps

Yeah, it looks like a mix of algae and maybe something else harming them. Do you have asterina stars or little bug looking things?

Took my orange colony to LFS he said it was hair algae. He put 10 little crabs in the container and they ate all day. I am going to leave them in there over night and see what happens in the morning.. If this works I guess I will be having crabs over for dinner for a while. The two other areas that were affected... 1. is just gone, the entire colony vanished. 2. got covered with a whiteish, blueish
slime and I took them out of the tank. I'll keep you advised. Bubba
