Yep definitely. Good things to have. I had a ton before I moved from SC and now they're not around as much.

Kind of worried me when I first spotted them because I didn't know what was going on, they're ugly but at least they're harmless =)

They're filter feeders so they'll pull some nutrients out of the water. They're also good for some grazers who will grab them up. Every once in a while one will come loose and go flying across my tank and somebody will chase it down.
