today i picked up a pink poccilopora and some kind of orange montipora capricornus on impulse. im pretty sure the monti will be fine, but im not so sure on placement for the poccilopora in my tank. i have a 150 watt mh on a 24 gallon aquapod. i currently have it in the middle range of my tank. how high can i put it? nice coral by the way.

Pocci's are pretty bullet proof can handle both high and fairly low light, likes flow.

I have a pocci the size of a grapefruit, and I've got him placed up high near the T5's and in medium indirect flow. I once tried to put him in an area of higher flow, but his polyps retracted a bit so I return him to his previous location.

I consider my pocci one of the hardiest corals in my tank, so I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Where did you get it? I like poccis but I havent found any in purdy colors yet.

Ya I agree with Bryan. Thye don't like massive amounts but good medium to medium high works well. And agian just watch it. It it's polyps are fully extended and it's grwoign and keeping color it's fine. They are quite hardy as stated.
