It depends on the light and coral start mid tank and work your way up over a week or 2 find the spot that gives best color with out bleaching or turning to pale.
Corals will fight just aim for enuf space so the coralites don't touch in sps . In lps aim for enuf room so sweeper tentacles and lobes don't touch .I'm not certain on leathers I have never had one that I neared to frag
