I thought I'd post a pic of one of my favorite corals, the humble Platygyra. I had a HUGE colony that had encrusted 2 rocks right in the center of my tank and about a year ago it started to die off. Water quality, algae, neglect - the usual suspects were to blame. One of the main reasons I'm back into the hobby today was an effort to try and save this colony. I have a handful of frags (6-7) that I was able to salvage before things got too bad. Now things are better but I have been moving things around. If you look at my tanks I've got little patches of this stuff everywhere encrusting in new places. I still have the frags and they're doing well but I really like all of the random patches of it throughout my aquarium. I don't have any questions but just thought the picture was really good and wanted to share it with y'all.
