I got a BRS dual reactor and I want to plumb so that my return line will feed it. The problem I am having is that I have 3/4" PVC for my return and I need it to go into the reactor plumbing. Is there a fitting that I can get to adapt this setup together?

Thanks

Put a 3/4" tee in line (one with slip on the ends and thread on the side, or else glue a female adapter in the side). Then it's just a matter of a 3/4" male>female of your fitting size.
Alternatively, you could put a cap on the side outlet that has been drilled and tapped for your fitting.

I would also advise you that after you tee off the 3/4" PVC you also install a ball valve prior to the smaller valve that come with the BRS reactor. This allows gross flow control, and also allows you to shut of all flow to the reactor so you can remove it for servicing.

sorry, I should have specified more in detail. I planned on putting a T-fitting in the main line, then a ball shutoff valve. The problem is that the fittings that come with the BRS reactor are loc line fittings, not PVC fittings. I am drawing a blank on mating the fittings that come with the BRS fittings to the PVC. Im thinking this is the fitting I need

post more information...

what is your return pump (picture?) not all return pumps will accept hard pvc fittings, so you could have to go from the return using nylon pipe to a barb fitting, to a PVC tee.

from the PVC Tee, you can use a screw in murloc/john guest fitting that will accept the 1/2" line from your BRS reactor..

Its a Mag 9.5. There is going to be a manifold with 3 T fittings that drop down each with its own shutoff valve. I need to adapt the 3/4" PVC to the fitting that comes with the reactor.

There is a john gust type fitting at HD that has a 3/8" or maybe even a 1/2 mpt on one end. You may have to do a 3/4 slip to 1/2 fpt bushing first.

Edit: like this one

Yes, and just to clarify, LocLine is totally different than what your reactor has.

Yeah sorry guys, I dont know why I said locLine. I can see where that would have caused some confusion. I have more ideas and issues with creating the perfect setup going through my head right now its insane.

grouper therapy: that looks like what I need. If home depot carries them, then thats where I need to go.
