I changed the proposed setup a little from my sketch. I'm thinking I'm going to remove the ball valve. True union on the right is for eventual manifold. Everything is 1" except the manifold will be 3/4" if it even needs to be that large. I plan on having 4 outlet options, I have 1 reactor as of right now that is used for GFO. Future additions could be biopellet, some other reactor, or UV. I do plan on using one to do waterchanges.

Any advice? I've been told no valve on the drain. I'm thinking of moving the union on the return lower, just after the pump.

Can you switch the return 90 to 45's? I always like 45's instead of 90's.. Just smoother to me.

I can, I'm actually contemplating doing a herbie overflow now so the return would come over the back of the tank.

Here's what I worked out this morning. The only thing I will be changing is cutting the 3/4" PVC leading to the True Union Valve for the manifold a little shorter. I'm trying to decide if I should face the manifold towards the drain/skimmer or towards the other side of the stand where the empty space is. For now I just plan on having my Apex and ATO over on the right side. How's it look?
