The pool hose that you see on the left split where it connects to the sump. Needless to say it must be replaced.

What are my options? Buy a similar hose or is there a better way to go? I'm obviously no plumber.

Flex PVC for plumping makes life so much easier. It's a bit pricey but worth it in the end when everything comes together perfectly.

I use to use the flex but with just a little PVC and glue its pretty easy to fix . Home depot and about 10$
And run PVC pipe down; into the sump / sock to help keep it quiet

With all my past tanks, I've always used just a short piece of flex PVC to give me a little bit of forgiveness where I need it, mainly at either end of my return and drain. I'm planning a bigger build with a basement sump so I plan to run all flex for my drain to make life easier.
