I am looking for a plumbing store near marietta or vinnings. I have tried HD and did not find what i was looking for. It may be that I just need to rethink how to drain my tank. also do i really need a tee on back to vent the drain?

I did a little redesigning and i think i got it worked out with stuff from home depot. I will take some pictures and see what people think, if it will work or not. plumbing is not my strong point!

plumbing is kind of an art - yes you do need a tee "durso" unless you want your overflow to be loud. If you are unsure about what to buy, find the plumbing guy in HD and tell him what you wanna do. Alot of the time they can come up with something that you never even thought of. I found that not all HD's carry the same plumbing stuff - same with lowes. So if you go to one HD and they dont have what you are looking for, then go to another. For more info on durso's put it in a search engine and see what comes up.

I have pretty much given up on local stores. It is irritating when they make you daily chain multiple parts in order to get the desired connectors. I think it's a revenue thing.

I have been pleased with savko.com.

Mcmaster has everything you need. However, I am not sure if they will do "will call" anymore. I use to phone in my order and go there to pick them up. They are located near six flags, Industrial Blvd.
