Does anybody know how many GPH a 1" overflow will flow?My tank has(4)1-3/4" overflow holes in it but the actual pipe I can connect to it is 1" PVC.
I would like to use two holes for the overflows and two for the returns and get at least 1500 GPH water movement? Do yall think it will do this GPH or more?

Most 1" pipes used as a drain can handle a significant amount of flow. 1500 gph is no problem for most 1" drains.
Your main issue is going to be your overflow box. Most overflow boxes are rated between 650-750 gph. Also how far your drain has to go and how many turns it has to make. More pipe=More friction and slower draining. Also be very careful because if you use a soft tubing it can kink and really slow it down. The more flow you have going through those drains the more noise you will have as well. I went with 1,100 gph with 2 1" drains but one of my drains sizes down into 3/4" to go into my skimmer.
