pom pom crab with xenia!

one of my pom pom crabs lost his anemones a while back.i saw him this morning and hes carrying 2 little xenias!i wasnt aware that they would utilize anything other than those tiny anemones but i guess they will.i will try to get a pic when he shows himself again.has anyone elses pom pom ever done anything like this?

I'm sure that would be cool to see, the pratical side of me would be afraid he'd spread the xenia all over the tank....:doh:....not that xenia needs help speading....

yeah,got my tweezers ready for the certain infestation!cant wait for him to pop out again for a pic.i usually see him about once or twice a week.

I didn't know they would do that! Pom poms are my favorite invert!

Mine has carried everything from zoas to bristle worms around. His favorite is honestly bristle worms.. He will wave 1/2" long sections for days while eating on them and what they snag for him.
