I’ve got a hitchhiker on a new Ricordia Frag and can’t figure out what it is. To me, the tentacles seem too rigid to be an Aiptasia, but too spindly to be a Majano. So I was thinking perhaps it’s a tube worm of some kind, but obviously it’s not a feather duster.

I’m assuming that I’ll need to irradicate it, but would love to know what it is before I do.

Can you provide some more photos?

If it is a tube worm, it may be a good guy and nice free tank addition.

That's what I'm thinking, and why I hope to get an ID before I get rid of it.

This is the only picture I was able to catch of it extended, it's spending most of it's time retracted and the tube isn't visible in any photos. I'll keep an eye on it today and see if I can catch it out for additional photos
