Ok so most of you might remember my post of ridding my tank of bryopsis and HA. Well Im fed up with it and its a losing battle. Also somethings have happened lately in my life and I just dont care anymore. The last thing I want is to compromise the health of everytthing. Im thinking of letting the rock dry and die for no less than a couple of months. Will that 100% kill the bryopsis and HA? I will sell all my fish, corals, and inverts and keep the everything else.

I suggest you go to Octobers meeting, could not hurt. Sorry to hear about all the c@#$ being thrown at you lately.

before you start over and cost yourself even more money, find somebody on here that would be willing to walk you through this.
theres plenty of smart folks on here that might be willing to help.
just find one of the more experienced members and ask questions via PM's. ask jenn, mojo, or amberjack. find someone whos been in the hobby for a while, im sure they have either been throught it or know a bit about it.

Ive done it all, cured, manual removal, lettuce nudibranch, and KentM. Iver talked to all the local sponsors around me and some reputable members. Its a losing battle. Literally take one step foward and then 2 steps back. I dont think I will lose a lot of money bc just about everything was bought used from member or on sale from a sponsor

5 huge mexican turbos and half gal KentM added over 1 week cured my 65gal. At the same time I added a ChemiPure elite and reduced feedings. Chaeto in the back compartment, about baseball size probably helped.

I know the feeling it just hurts seeing the tank getting green but believe me when the algae starts turing brown/white and slowly die you'll feel much better

When I broke down my last setup, I took the rock out and put it in a rubbermaid with a ph and small skimmer to kill everything off. I let it sit in there for 2 months before I put it into this setup. Sorry, I dont know why i said cured it.

cooking is totally different--you can literally 'cook' it--like boil it in water (which will kill anything on the rock). It basically quickly makes it become dry base rock. G'luck and I've thought many times about getting out when something like this comes along--keep us posted.
