Post Your Frag Growth Rate!

Okay, so i'm new to sps and everywhere I see folks talking about "great growth" here and there so I thought this would be a cool way to show off your frags and see what normal growth rates are!
Please put a before and after picture and note the timeline between pics!

Most of my frags just seem to be encrusting the frag disk rather than growing "up". Not sure how long that takes or if it's normal but i'll dig up some pictures to kick this off.

Edit: Here's a green tort I have. Pictures are 30 days apart. Something irritates it sometimes and I get this white stringy thing in spots. I think it's super sensitive to alkalinity changes possibly as it seems to happen when I dose alk or do a water change.

IME- Higher the flow the more SPS will encrust and thicken their base. Lower the flow the more up and out growth they have.
"Great growth" is all relative to how you measure it.

IME, acros will incrust the plug first to establish their "real estate", then grow outward.

Yeah, not really meant to be a contest or anything. Was just hoping to see what kind of growth rate is normal for a thriving sps, whether it be encrusting or lengthening.
I'm having some trouble with browning/color fading too and I'm trying to track down the cause.
I think it may have been old bulbs and I replaced them, but how long does it take a coral to color back up?

It could take 6 months for sps to color back up.

It looks like you have a toadstool right there very close to it. They can sometimes cause issues if they are too close to another coral. Generally they don't but if they are touching another coral...the pic may be misleading but it looks like they are touching.

The toadstool is very close (~1" or less) but it doesn't touch and the hyper sensitive area is "upstream" of the toadstool by a few inches. I'll try moving it and see if the hypersensitivity areas continue.

thanks for the info kirkwood, though that would be a real bummer to wait 4+ months to find out it wasn't the bulbs and guess at the next possibility . My other guesses at this point are phosphate or flow possibly. Or a combo of all the above. Not sure how to judge if flow is enough though.
