I feel your pain. (We were 14 hours out before we got a generator on).

I used a pitcher, scoop up water, pour it back in. Keeps it agitated.

Man you too! I live behind the publix and Kroger... GA Power said there is a tree down in our area. They said power should be restored by 5:45.

Now I know there is a tank in the area I need to see

I have been reading about H2O2 and I read that in small amounts added to the tank (making the h2o2 heavily diluted in the volume of tank water) that it does nothing but highly boost the oxygen levels in the tank.

I read "many a fish store owner has added hydrogen peroxide to their systems during a power outtage'
Maybe not an exact quote, but I wonder what any fish store owners have to add on the subject?

I've never done it, just throwing it out there for someone else to confirm

I've never done it but I've heard of it done. I thought about it during our recent outage but without knowing how much to use (and not being able to get online to research it)... I didn't want to try it and possibly make matters worse.

I'm thinking it wouldn't last that long as those folks above in this heat......Temps were milder then.....
