For those running high-tech planted aquariums, what techniques have you found most effective for preventing algae outbreaks? Do you focus on nutrient balancing (NPK dosing vs CO2), maintaining stable photoperiods, or tweaking flow and filtration? I’d love to hear about specific experiences, whether it’s reducing light intensity, increasing plant mass, using algae-eating fish or shrimp, or other creative solutions.
