Well I finally got the bottom of the frame cut and assembled. It turned out better than I thought it would, it's extremely sturdy. Not bad for my first wood work project! I still have a lot to do, but at least I can finally visualize the final product. I have less than $20 in the stand so far. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to finish the top like a typical in-wall peninsula tank, or build a floating hood. I'm also going to have to mod my sump, or go a different route. It doesn't fit how I thought it would. Anyhow... tell me with you think...

I did consider it, but I came across a great deal on this CPR unit from a very generous member on here and decided to not drill. The small side that it's on will not be viewable when the stand is completed any how.

Looks good. Can't wait to see it wet!

I couldn't help but notice your Boise State helmet and that you now live in Warner Robins... you wouldn't happen to be in the Air Force would you?

I used to live in Boise.

Haha... that's too funny. I didn't care for it a whole lot while I was there, but miss it now.

Edit: So you were there when the Thunderbird crashed at the airshow...

I was there and I'll never forget that one. We were busing all the people off the flightline, provided recovery support with our tractor trailers and towed POVs to a containment area.

Right now I can't make up my mind with the lighting. I have a 150w MH and two T5's that I was planning on using. Then I saw a good deal on a 250w MH, and now a buddy just dropped off two led drivers for me. Ugh!
