Hi.
I have my RODI unit in my warehouse at work. It is not air conditioned or heated. With the cold weather coming, I was wondering if anyone has had to figure something out for the RODI unit that just sits sometimes with the canisters full of water. I don't want the water to freeze and then rupture the canisters... Should I buy some heat tape and wrap the canisters? What suggestions do you folks have.

Thanks,
Sia

I thought of that too, but that gets really cumbersome. Because I turn on the unit a couple times a week to get RO water into a reservoir and then I make saltwater. The water just stays in there and then when I turn on the water again, the pressure just pushes the water in the canisters out.

I wouldn't leave it in a place where temp gets too hot or cold. Cracking is a concern but I am more of afraid of the filters getting ram age as well.

Mine's in my garage. Not climate controlled and so issues so far. Granted I assume my garage never gets below freezing...
