If you had $300 what protein skimmer would you buy for a 90 gallon tank? Also what is the difference between a Bubble Magus NAC7 and a Bubble Magus Curve 7?

Anyone who pays $3K for a skimmer needs to have their head examined. Especially after that article that tested 7 different types of skimmers and showed the cheapest of the bunch Precision Marine was the most efficient one. Oh well i guess if you got the money, why not.[/QUOTE]
there is a price "break off" IN MY OPINION for skimmers...
I'm not sure paying 3k for one (unless its a 300g+ tank is cost effective), BUT I've had cheap skimmers and I've had expensive skimmers.
every skimmer and pump is NOT... by any means.. created equal.

I've put it many skimmers over the years and so far I am quite impressed with the price point and quality of the Reef Octopus line. The new DC powered line looks to be where I am headed but it is definitely above the $300 price point on that line but several others would be just fine for you under the $300 mark.

With the extra $$ left over buy something else or use to upgrade something.
