Protein skimmer

I am trying to find the best skimmer for my setup. I'm going to be running a 46 gallon bow with a 20 gallon sump/refug. I have been looking at the super reef octopus 1000 will this be a good skimmer choice for me or would a different skimmer work better. It's hard to make a decision with the overwhelming information on the the net. Thanks!

I just purchased the Bubble Magus NAC7 Cone and it has amazed me so far. I had a Octopus DDNW-150 in the past and it never performed like this NAC7.
