Finally after a couple weeks I was able to get my 200g moved from my old house to my new house and built my dream fish room/workshop in the basement. No more getting on hands and knees to tinker inside the stand. Attached are some pics of the different stages and my new setup. Added an apex to make life that much easier.

The tank looks great! I think you need bigger sumps with all that space!! How do you keep your ph so consistent?

So I’ve found out over the last couple years that pH is directly related to oxygen being replenished into the system. In my last house all my plumbing was in the stand with little to no circulation. The CO2 build up would constantly bring my pH down and I was constantly having to dose buffer. I even had to run a 20 ft airline from my Skimmer to outside my house to pull fresh air in constantly. My new house where my fish room leads directly to outside so the air, although insulated, is able to circulate much better now that I have 2 sumps. I was contemplating getting one large sump but decided to use what I had (RS100 and RS200) to make one continuous system. I’ve barely had to use any buffer since the move and with using two dumps at different levels, the water agitation is crazy so it helps me replenish the oxygen and stabilize myself pH

I agree that O2 in the system is where it's at. Mine seems to be more of a concern with O2 in the house than it is getting it in to the system.

Yeah my last house had high level s of CO2 so it was really tough to manage. But so far the new house is much better and easier to maintain good levels. We will see what happens when Doser gets turned on today
