If you are afraid that you have metals on your water, you may want to look into cuprisorb.

Depends on the application.

Where do you suspect to have heavy metals? Why do you have this suspision?

The more we know, the better we can help. The question is pretty vague.

Purigen removes organics.

Cuprisorb and Polyfilter removes heavy metals after the fact (once they're in your tank). Polyfilter also removes medications and phosphates and other impurities and with certain toxins, changes colour so you may know what it's taking out. (Red with iron, blue with copper, etc.)

RO/DI water stops the heavy metals from getting into your tank in the first place, at least through source water.
