Pvc cement question

I am using PVC cement glue for the first time in my 90 gallon. All of my other lines are hoses with barb connections and clamps. After gluing my PVC parts together I am letting them dry over night. Even after an hour the odor from the glue was very strong. Is it going to be ok to use the part even if the odor is very strong tomorrow? Will it harm my tank mates?

There is a residue order but I wouldn't call it extremly strong.
Did you use the purple primer first?
There is a strict expiration date warning on this glue. It also can't ever get frozen or really hot.
It never hardens if it is "jelly" like consistency.
If your ok on all the above, the scent should disapate by morning.
