QT for fish and corals

I have set up a QT for fish and a separate QT for coral and invertibrates. What issues will I have if I add a second fish or coral for quarantine? Does the time reset when adding another? I am trying to be very careful when ready to add to the main tank.

Does not reset the time for coral qt but I believe it does for fish qt.
