QT Size...

Will I be OK with a 10g as my QT? I'm not planning on getting any more tangs at this point. I will be getting a foxface eventually, but plan on waiting until I can get a smaller one. I don't mind getting a 20L, but why spend the money if this one will do fine?

If you have the room for it I'd go bigger, the more water volume the more forgiving for managing the water parameters.

I've got the room since this will be a temporary setup for each fish addition. I'll probably pick up a 20 with a little hood/light at PetSmart then. I think I can get it for $40 total. Is it more a matter of the water params staying stable, or the comfort of the fish in this case?

Probably a little of both depending on the needs / size of the fish, but water params for sure.

Yeah, if you can afford it, go for the 20. Stability is important. I would paint 3 sides of the tank black also to help reduce stress.
